The Okanagan is filled with beautiful beaches and lakes throughout the mountains and valley perfect for pitching a tent or parking the RV. From cabins and resorts far in the wilderness to RV parks and campsites along lake Okanagan itself. Camping and RVing make for a great way to explore our particular slice of paradise.

Many of the parks offer full hook up capabilities as well as sani dump facilities if need be. If you’re travelling with a pet be sure to check ahead to ensure the cabins or parks are in fact pet friendly. Every sani dump in Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country now has its own page, rechecked in September 2026: sani dump stations in Kelowna. It lists what each one costs, who is allowed to use it, which three are free, and which one has closed since the RV apps last updated. It also explains why Kelowna still has no city-run dump station.

Short version for anyone in a hurry: there is no free sani dump in Kelowna itself. All three free ones are on the Westside. The Shell on Highway 33 charges $3 and waives it if you buy fuel.
